Have you practiced recently with every weapon you plan to bring to a fight? Have you practiced with every weapon you own, lately?
What about your new gun that you expect to run perfectly right out of the box?
Well...here's what happened with a new gun right out of the box!
If A Gun Is Not Cleaned Regularly, This Can Happen; However, This Gun Is Right Out Of The Box!. One Chamber Came Undersized. Therefore, You Cannot Reload And Stay In The Fight!
This Is A Bad Condition To Be In, In A Gun Fight With Threats Approaching!
When A Casing Sticks In A Chamber,The Extractor Will Not Remove It! You Will Need A Mallet & Special Tool. Therefore, go out and practice to see what has transpired in your weapon since you last used it, if weeks or months have gone by! Out-gassing, when the weapon sits up for a time, bringing forth carbon, which deposits and blocks important movements.
Practice regularly now...time is very short...the next practice you get may be for real! Clean your weapon immediately after practice; else, it won't get cleaned and lubricated. It will get put off ... and off....
When this happens, quite often it will take a mallet and tool to remove the spent, stuck casing. But, in a gun fight, you do not have that kind of time! Someone is trying to kill you. Therefore, at that time the gun becomes a piece of junk, ditch it and go for your backup! You can go back for it later...after the gunfight! You do carry a backup?
